I really love Mick Jones music and I am infinitely in love with the voice of Kelly Hansen. This release is a real challenge for me to judge this record objectively. First notes in my ears with "Can't Slow Down" and the musical journey begins ... Flawless orchestrations and crystal clear sound that make your inside smile and enjoy! Every time I listen to a song by Mick Jones I always wonder what this man has in his soul, in his heart, in his emotions and he composes these real masterpieces that enchant, captivate, travel, awaken your every cell and make your mind to dance hug with your feelings. Incredible, unique, melodic and so much more but above all his music is the perfect, the most amazing companion to trust the company of your soul. From the main cd I choose tracks “Can’t Slow Down”, “When It Comes To Love”, “Give Me A Sign”, “Angel Tonight” and finally, like the old classic days of FOREINER’s golden hits, my favorite “Too Late”. On 2nd bonus disc of this deluxe re-release except of b-side “In Pieces” (edit) all other songs are live versions but unreleased stuff until now! Bonus disc is like a “Best Of” collection. The guitar, the keys, the saxophone make me want to listen to them again and again and again... Feelings, visions, dreams, love, anxieties, hope with the sure recipe of FOREIGNER. I choose tracks “Cold As Ice”, “Say You Will”, “Urgent”, “Feels Like The First Time”, “Head Games” and finally the hymn “Starrider” and the ode to love, their ultimate ballad “I Want To Know What Love Is”. Did I tell you that I’m in love with Kelly Hansen's voice? Really good music in whatever genre you love is a matter of choice and the most beautiful gift you can make to yourself. Put cd disc… push play button… and just live it!!!
