Title: Time

Artist/Band: LASTWORLD

Country: USA

Release date: 29/10/2021

Company: Perris Records

Style: AOR/Melodic Rock

LASTWORLD’s first album “Time” never got released digitally, with the success of their second album "Over The Edge" on Perris Records, they were happy to release “Time” digitally. LASTWORLD is guitarist/multi-instrumentalist/songwriter James Shepard and vocalist David Cagle. Their debut album "Time" transports you back to the sound of the eighties when AOR/Melodic Rock like this could see you topping the Billboard charts. This "Time" release breezes in with some cool guitar, sweet vocal melodies and about living for the weekend. It brings on nostalgia, like looking through old photos. The digital release of this album is bringing with it a bonus track that was recorded in the same sessions but not used, "I Don't Wanna Lose" was the first song James and David recorded together and is now seeing the light of day. The song also features Ron Hanchar on saxophone (!). Mastered by JK Northrup. James Shepard is an American independent multi-instrumentalist who has recorded several solo albums as well as his band TAXI (not the same name band of Nikos Karvelas), who dominated the Northwest Indiana rock scene in the 90s. Award-winning international singer David Cagle has recorded vocals on more than 1000 songs over the past 10 years for clients all over the world, covering multiple genres of music. Although a singer of many styles, Cagle is most known for his melodic, soulful rock voice. I choose tracks: “Time”, “Four Leaf Clover”, “Fallen”, “Don’t Bother Me”, “Alive”, “Walk Away”, “Don’t Say Goodbye” and of course “I Don’t Wanna Loose”. Check this release!
